PROPERTIES

– growth stimulator– adhesive– adaptogen
– cryoprotectant– anti-stress agent– antioxidant

Carboxylic acids are part of biogenic stimulants — substances that plants accumulate in their tissues under the influence of unfavourable environmental factors.

Carboxylic acids, introduced from outside, accelerate metabolism, have a positive effect on plant immunity and have pronounced antioxidant properties. They also enhance protein synthesis and affect the activity of enzymes that create and neutralise reactive oxygen species (ROS). They do not so much suppress as control the course of spontaneous oxidative reactions in living cells, preventing the destruction of cell membranes. ROS act as signalling mediators that activate various physiological reactions important for protecting plants from both pathogens and the harmful effects of abiotic stressors (activation of antioxidant enzymes, accumulation of low-molecular-weight protectors, etc.).

Carboxylic acids are particularly effective during planting or transplanting plants. The root system better absorbs the nutrients contained in the soil. In addition, the vital activity of beneficial soil microorganisms around the roots is normalised, which is also important for good plant development.

Thus, the carboxylic acids in the composition of the preparation VIMPEL-K2® increase plant resistance to stress: cold, drought, diseases, accelerate seed and tuber germination, root and shoot growth, and increase yield.

Growth stimulator. Thanks to the action of the components  VIMPEL-K2®, the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is activated, making the product a powerful energy stimulator that enhances cellular respiration and promotes oxygen uptake by cells. The rate of oxygen consumption by the mitochondria (the energy centre of cells) of the plant increases tenfold. This leads to the acceleration of all metabolic processes, including a 5-8% increase in germination energy and sprout growth strength, which makes it possible to form the desired plant density. They produce more biomass, i.e. the development of the root system and vegetative mass is accelerated, resulting in a 25-30% increase in plant drought resistance.

In perennial crops, the percentage of successful grafting and rooting of cuttings and shoots increases by 15-20%, and the survival rate of seedlings (own-rooted and grafted) improves by 10-12%. Also, VIMPEL-K2® promotes the restoration of the root system when transplanting seedlings.

Adhesive. The component of the preparation with a high molecular weight has a high film-forming ability. Thanks to this, VIMPEL-K2®  ensures the fixation of tank preparations on seeds, which increases the effectiveness of biological preparations, fungicides and microfertilisers by 25-30%. During prolonged (up to 2 months) exposure to conditions of insufficient moisture in the soil, seeds are negatively affected by provocative moisture, which leads to mould growth. The created shell protects seeds treated with VIMPEL-K2® from provocative moisture, preserving their germination. Field germination of seeds in particularly unfavourable conditions increases by 20-25%.

Adaptogen and cryoprotectant. The simultaneous action of polymers increases osmotic pressure directed inside the cell, improves protein metabolism, which is expressed in the synthesis of stress proteins, as well as in an increase in the amount of sugars in the plant. These changes make the plant more resistant to adverse environmental conditions, allowing it to better tolerate high and low temperatures and low air humidity. The sugar and starch content increases by 40%, which enhances winter hardiness and frost resistance (the freezing point of cell sap and water decreases by 3-5°C).

Anti-stress agent.
The use of the product together with seed dressings relieves pesticide stress, while the growth rate of seedlings is restored to the level inherent in the genotype.

Antioxidant.
VIMPEL-K2® inhibits the action of oxidants and stabilises the vital activity of the natural microflora of the soil around the seeds. The preparation protects the plant from excessive accumulation of nitrogenous substances (nitrates) in the tissues when their content in the soil is excessive.

The recommended dose of the preparation VIMPEL-K2® during seed treatment ensures high efficiency due to the optimal concentration of components in its composition.

Thus, the multi-component nature of the preparation VIMPEL-K2® gives it the properties of a growth stimulator, adhesive, adaptogen, cryoprotectant, anti-stress agent, antioxidant and makes it indispensable during seed treatment. Seed treatment with the preparation VIMPEL-K2® leads to the consolidation of its effect throughout the entire life cycle of the plant.

Treatment must be carried out using a solution that has been prepared immediately prior to use.

Such a simple agrotechnical measure as treating seeds with the growth stimulator VIMPEL-K2® leads to a 15-30% increase in yield, which has an undeniable economic effect.

Every plant organism contains genetically determined regulators that control growth and development. They are characterised by high biological activity, which enhances cell division processes. Currently, there are four known groups of regulators that control various processes in cellular systems. This list includes auxins, cytokinins, brassinosteroids, and gibberellins. Each of these groups allows you to adjust the most important reactions and changes that occur in plant cells. In addition, growth stimulants include amino acids, peptides, humic acids, vitamins, enzymes, etc. However, it should be noted that the content of phytohormones in plant organisms is very low, which in stressful situations can lead to irreversible destructive processes. Therefore, the use of the stimulant VIMPEL-K2®, developed by experienced specialists at DOLINA, will help avoid the undesirable effects of stress factors on plants and ensure high and stable yields that meet the demands of modern consumers.

The action of the substances contained in VIMPEL-K2®, both individually and in combination, ensures its multifunctionality and focuses directly on the seed and the processes taking place within it.

POLYATOMIC ALCOHOLS

The components included in the preparation have high film-forming properties. This allows tank preparations to be fixed on seeds, which increases the effectiveness of biological preparations, fungicides and mineral fertilisers by 25–30%. Thanks to polyhydric alcohols with different molecular weights in the mixture, it is possible to protect against excess moisture and the action of pathogenic microorganisms, which in turn increases field germination.

In addition, they prevent water crystallisation processes that can disrupt the integrity of membranes and organelles, improve protein metabolism, and allow plants to better cope with stressful growing conditions. The sugar and starch content increases by 40%, which enhances winter hardiness and frost resistance (the freezing point of cell sap and water decreases by 3-5°C). The action of polyhydric alcohols in the early stages of development protects seeds from seed infection, resulting in higher yields.

CARBONIC ACIDS

When the seed-soil-environment system interacts, complex biochemical processes occur in the seed, the successful completion of which determines the level and quality of the yield of a particular agricultural crop. Each stage of the ontogenesis of a plant organism is characterised by a series of reactions that depend on the content of certain substances available in the seed. There are several phases of seed germination, each with its own characteristics of intracellular processes. The germination process begins with the absorption of water to a point called “critical moisture”. This stage is characterised by complex physicochemical phenomena, during which intracellular transformations occur that are associated with the incorporation of water molecules into the structure of acids. This is followed by swelling when the amount of moisture in the seed reaches a critical level.

As a result, cell activity intensifies, enzymatic systems begin to function, and the respiratory coefficient increases significantly. A young plant is formed, consisting of a sprout and primary roots. The final phase of seed germination occurs when the organism transitions to complete autotrophic nutrition. Under normal growing conditions, these processes proceed without difficulty and, as a result, produce high-quality results. However, it is known that during the process of growth and development, plants are exposed to negative factors that lead to intracellular disorders.

Thanks to the use of VIMPEL-K2®, it has become possible to neutralise the effects of complex processes that occur in plant organisms under stress conditions. The components of the preparation have macroergic bonds that activate the production of the universal energy accumulator ATP. As a result, cellular respiration is enhanced, oxygen is better absorbed, which allows all metabolic processes to be activated.

VIMPEL-K2® also affects the processes of peroxidation, which destroy cells. Cell damage is a typical pathological process based on the violation of its structural integrity and functional properties. There are a number of factors that can cause damage when they interact. One of the consequences of such an impact is the initiation of lipid peroxidation (LPO) processes. The initiators of LPO are free radicals (hydroxyl radical, singlet oxygen, hydrogen radical). To counteract the negative effects of free radicals in the cell, an antioxidant defence system is provided, which is represented by various substances.

The effect of the complex VIMPEL-K2® allows you to suspend negative processes that the cellular antioxidant defence system cannot cope with. The components of the preparation contribute to the successful course of the Krebs cycle, which intensifies the processes of ATP formation and, as a result, leads to an increase in germination energy.

MODIFIED HUMIC ACIDS

Humic acids have unique properties. The use of these substances allows to increase environmental purity, improve the quality of agricultural products, reduce growth and ripening times, increase yields, and restore soil fertility. However, due to the specific behaviour of humic acids, their biological activity in solutions is quite low. Therefore, specialists at DOLINA conducted research with the aim of obtaining modified humates with altered chemical properties and conformation. As a result, they succeeded in increasing the biological activity of the complex, thereby exerting a multifaceted effect on all stages of plant growth and development.

This effect is mainly due to chelating properties. Carboxyl (COOH) and phenolic (OH) groups of humic acids are capable of forming chelate complexes with microelements and transporting them into the plant in this form. They also ensure high exchange capacity of the soil.

Hinones contain non-localised electrons in their structure, which can capture, accumulate and then transfer solar energy to plant cells.

Thanks to their properties, humates are capable of increasing the energy of plant cells, stimulating the vital processes of living organisms, and accelerating plant growth and development. VIMPEL-K2®  increases plant resistance to drought by 25–30%. In perennial crops, the percentage of successful grafting and rooting of cuttings increases by 15–20%, and the survival rate of seedlings improves by 10–12%. Also, VIMPEL-K2® promotes the restoration of the root system after transplanting seedlings. Ultimately, the action of the complex enhances growth and increases the productivity and quality of plant products.
