The company ‘DOLINA’ is an association of enterprises specialising in the development, research and implementation of plant growth stimulants, microfertilisers, LFD (liquid complex fertilisers) and adjuvants in agricultural production. The first enterprise was founded by Yuriy Oleksiyovych Lopaenko in 1997.
Our slogan is: ‘Experience. Reliability. Results.’ Our activities are based on a strong tradition of respect and honesty. We adhere to these principles both within the organisation and in relation to the world.
The development of the marketing system is one of the company’s priorities. The marketing department includes marketing and advertising managers, internet marketers, scientists and designers. The department’s tasks include cooperation with all links in the company’s structural chain, shaping the company’s brand and promoting its trademarks. The focus of our efforts is on the end consumer and satisfying their needs through the products and accompanying services that the company promotes on the market.
Specialists of all levels and specialisations are one of the key factors for the successful and long-term operation of the company. Their availability and high qualifications are closely monitored by the company’s HR department, which promotes the brand of a reliable employer both in Ukraine and abroad. The company’s HR department actively supports employees in their development by implementing various professional and personal training programmes and courses.
Highly qualified managers with higher education in agronomy carefully study the needs of agricultural producers at all levels, from small farms to large holdings. Based on this analysis, a well-coordinated team of synthetic chemists, analytical chemists and agronomists in our own modern chemical laboratories work on creating new products and improving existing ones. The leading specialists of this department have the highest qualifications, confirmed by the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC) of Ukraine in chemical and agricultural sciences. Currently, the company employs:
- 6 candidates of agricultural sciences,
- 2 candidates of chemical sciences,
- 1 candidate of technical sciences.
The research department is represented by specialists whose activities consist of cooperation with scientific institutions in Ukraine and abroad. Specialists in this field develop a programme for researching and testing new products in laboratories, on experimental fields and at scientific institutions. The field research department studies the needs of end consumers and the behaviour of the company’s products in field conditions.
After thorough research of the developed preparations for effectiveness and compliance with all applicable environmental safety standards, production workers take over, carefully controlling product quality at every stage. The production manager has a scientific degree – a candidate of technical sciences.
The production unit has equipped workshops for the production and packaging of products in liquid and dry dosage forms. Raw materials and finished products undergo quality control in the production laboratory under the supervision of specialist technologists. The division’s production capacity is 105,000 litres of liquid and 52 tonnes of dry products per day, and the production area is 6,200 m2. From a certified warehouse with a capacity of 2,800 pallet spaces and an area of 900 m2, the company’s products are shipped to partners and customers in Ukraine and around the world.
As of 2024, the company’s product portfolio includes 40 products. The most well-known are the VIMPEL® line of plant growth stimulants, which includes four products and has already been on the market for several generations, and the ORAKUL® professional line of microfertilisers, which consists of 14 products. The PASLINIY® stimulant for solanaceous crops, produced by DOLINA, has won the favour of vegetable growers in many countries around the world.
The amino acid complex BAK LAN® and the adjuvant AUDITOR® are an indispensable part of Ukrainian farmers’ technologies. The dry microfertilisers produced by the company are represented by a line under the LURS® trademark. Starting in 2022, the company will actively market specialised growth stimulants CROSSLIPS®, SOYLIPS®, GRAINLIPS®, SWEETLIPS®, and FRUITLIPS®, which are the beginning of a large line of professional products.
Plant growth stimulants, microfertilisers, and adjuvants promoted by the company require a special registration procedure in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine and other countries. At the company, this function is performed by a specialist in state registration and certification, whose results are the starting point for the sale of the company’s products.
The analysis of the performance indicators of the company ‘DOLINA’ and its employees, partners and sales markets
is managed by demanding specialists from the planning and economic department. All financial
transactions and reporting are controlled and performed by accountants from the relevant department with the support of the legal service. In its activities, the service is guided by principles such as truthfulness, accuracy, transparency and full compliance with regulatory requirements. The company’s well-thought-out economic policy is aimed at forming stable financial reserves that allow the company to develop in the long term and confidently avoid crisis situations. The company uses these criteria when selecting partners.
The product distribution system is divided according to the geography of the sales markets and the segmentation of end consumers. The company has a department for selling products to B2B customers in Ukraine through a developed distribution system, a department for selling to B2C consumers in urban and rural areas through cooperation with retail chains, and a foreign economic department whose specialists focus on developing foreign markets. The company’s main logistics hub is located in Poltava and has 5,500 pallet spaces and an area of 2,400 m2. All logistics processes and documentary support for sales operations are controlled by specialists working in the logistics department of DOLINA.
DOLINA provides support to consumers of its products through professional managers and consultants who are present in every region of our country. Their task is to inform agronomists on the implementation of the latest agricultural technologies and to explain the features of the use of growth stimulants and microfertilisers.
In order to improve the efficiency of agricultural production and study the specifics of using preparations in different agroclimatic conditions, the company cooperates fruitfully with leading research institutions in Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Germany, Italy, Turkey, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovenia, South Africa and India.
